In today’s fast-paced world of healthcare, companies are increasingly realizing the importance of creating a positive workplace culture. Here at Carriage Court Senior Living, we understand to achieve this culture, employee recognition is an essential element.
Employee recognition is just as it sounds: recognizing and thanking employees for their hard work and effort. At Carriage Court, we like to show this appreciation in several ways. From social recognition, milestone awards, or our weekly creative follow-ups (CFUs), we always take a moment for our hard-working team members.
As the Business Office Director, part of my role is to promote employee appreciation. This past year, my favorite CFU was Activity Professionals Week, when we celebrated our fantastic Resident Services Director, Wendy Washburn. Wendy has a heart of gold and puts her entire self into the residents and the community.
This is just one example of the many wonderful team members we have. We genuinely believe when done right, employee recognition creates a workplace culture that helps people thrive, promotes retention, and makes us a great place to work which in turn makes us a great place to live.
