Carriage Court Senior Living Greatly Appreciates Its Employees

At Carriage Court Senior Living, this year has been an exciting year filled with joyous moments that united our staff and residents, despite the adversities faced during the pandemic. Love filled our hallways, laughter in the air, and even sometimes tears, as we came together to be a team, united through thick and thin.

We jumped right in with the restrictions from the pandemic beginning to lessen, and our team grew stronger as we celebrated every moment we could think of. From an eventful Pride Week, where we planted trees, made soothing hand scrubs, and enjoyed relaxing massages, to a thrilling Family Halloween Night, and even celebrating a resident’s 105th birthday, Carriage Court came together in wonderous, family-like unity.

Watching our community unite against COVID-19 was so rewarding. We were grateful for team members like Robin Benavides, a long-time care partner, and Jennifer Robinson, one of Wellness Nurses, who consistently went above and beyond to protect and support our residents. We were impressed with team leaders, like Sophie Rich, our Executive Director, and Shemika Morris, our Memory Care Director, who led our community through compassion and dedication. Together, we entered 2022 with hope and determination, and together, we leave 2022 with love and unity.

We are so excited to celebrate the holidays as we end this year. Our Carriage Court family is currently enjoying the aromas, and fun events as we celebrate the 45 Days of Holiday Cheer. Together, we are learning about the holidays, while celebrating with awesome events, like our Marshmallow-Themed Happy Hour, and our fun door decorating contest. Carriage Court is looking forward to an eventful 2023, where we will, together in unity, celebrate one another at any chance we get. Whatever comes our way, we will embrace it as a family.
