Family involvement in Memory Care is both valuable and, at times, complex. At the same time, Memory Care teams can guide families toward meaningful engagement. This support improves quality of life for both the resident and the family. Creating Meaningful Opportunities

We engage families by inviting them into events that feel familiar and welcoming. Holiday parties, Sunday brunches, and shared events with assisted living create natural opportunities to connect. These gatherings encourage families to spend time together in a relaxed setting.

We also offer a Share a Memory box outside the Memory Care neighborhood. Families can leave notes, stories, or special memories for staff to share with residents. This simple idea creates another meaningful way to stay involved, even when they are not present in person.

Supporting Families With Confidence

I support families through reassurance, communication, and guidance. By sharing ideas and remaining available to listen, I help them feel more comfortable staying involved. This approach keeps connection natural and manageable.

Families who want to volunteer can reach out directly. We start with a conversation about their interests and availability. From there, we create a plan that feels meaningful and easy to maintain.
