Spring-cleaning is celebrated in cultures across the world. Due to the tilt of the Earth on its axis, the northern hemisphere begins to see the winter-scape come to life with daffodils blooming, grass greening, and temperatures warming during late March, into early April.
Spring-cleaning has grown into National Spring-Cleaning Week. This annual effort has expanded beyond house and business cleaning into peoples’ finances, technology, and other areas of a person’s life. With that in mind, Carriage Court Senior Living is looking forward to completing this year’s community-wide spring-cleaning effort!
The first thing I tend to clean when the warm weather arrives is my truck. Cleaning it out in the cold weather is very uncomfortable, so it does not get done often during winter. By the time spring arrives it is in desperate need of an extensive cleaning.
A clean and organized environment makes people feel happier. I always feel better and more productive after completing spring-cleaning. With warmer weather finally here, this is also a great time to start spring-cleaning my lifestyle. I plan to spend less of my free time lounging indoors, and more of it outside enjoying nature.
